When Life Hands You Lemons...Have a Cupcake!

After The Village of Rochester Hills had to cancel last week's movie night due to rain, Heather Tocco of Gracie Moonpie & Company was left with 200 Madagascar 3-themed mini cupcakes.

At the suggestion of movie night sponsor Cornerstone Community Financial Credit Union, Tocco decided to call The Rochester Community House Community Kitchen to see if they could use a few sweets.

"We were so excited that Heather thought of us," said Community House Director Mary Lee Kowalczyk. "We have been hearing about Gracie Moonpie's work around town and our families will be so pleased to have the extra treats."

The Rochester Community House offers support to local families and individuals in need through its Community Kitchen and Sunday Community Kitchen Dinners held the third Sunday of each month.

Gracie Moonpie & Company and Cornerstone Community Financial will be back at The Village on July 11 for the rain date of movie night!

Gracie Moonpie & Company’s passion for artistry and dedication to each client’s experience is reflected in the quality of Master Cake Artist Heather Tocco’s work. Tocco believes it is the purpose of Gracie Moonpie & Company to be a service to the community and an active and generous stakeholder in each community it serves.
