On Saturday, make your way to Third and Water for the Downtown Rochester Farmer's Market. It is a community, and personal, favorite.

“Shopping at the Downtown Rochester Farmers’ Market is a great way to access fresh, locally grown products, strengthen the local economy and connect with the community,”  said Nancy Voges, Marketing Coordinator for the Rochester Downtown Development Authority.

New this season, the Downtown Rochester Farmers’ Market will accept Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT), also known as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Bridge Cards. This initiative through the Rochester Downtown Development Authority, gives recipients of public assistance access to fresh, healthy food while supporting the local farm economy.

The Downtown Rochester Farmers’ Market is presented by the Rochester Downtown Development Authority and
C & G Newspapers. For more information about the market, please visit www.DowntownRochesterMI.com or contact the Rochester DDA office at 248-656-0060.

Be sure to post your photos of your favorite spots in town this weekend. See you downtown!
