DIA Most Fashionable Night

With so many people talking about the bad things happening in Detroit, there is one thing that remains...we know how to party and look great doing it! The strength of this community is seen in its ability to give back, rally and support our nonprofits and culture.

Hundreds of people agree with me and gathered at the DIA for Fash Bash once again this year. This year's Bash hoped to raise more than last year's $300,000...a mountain easy to climb for Detroiters.

I am a true suburban girl, but Detroit is our hub. When people ask where we are from, we tell them how far in relation to Detroit. Whether in Rochester, Troy, Birmingham or Royal Oak, we are the Metro Detroit crowd.

Styleline Magazine's editor, Rochester Hills resident and author, Karen Buscemi, was just one of the amazing faces on site at the event.

"Fash Bash is my most anticipated event of the year. From the fabulous fashion to the grandeur of the DIA, this event has the best eye candy in town. StyleLine is thrilled to once again sponsor Fash Bash."

And of course, Karen got her couture from one of her favorite local spots. She had this to say right before the event:

"While, of course, I'm excited for Fash Bash in general, I'm equally eager to wear my outfit to the event. After all, art and fashion go hand in hand. I'll be wearing Nicole Miller Artelier from local boutique SHE, located in Bloomfield Hills. Shopping local is a must!"

She certainly outdid herself and looked amazing!

I love to see people give back. But more than that, I love to see people give to the arts in artful ways. What a perfect way to give tribute and raise funds for one of our greatest treasures. We get together and celebrate the art of every day...fashion!

Stay tuned for more photos from Fash Bash and more news on fall events...
