My Facial Ended With a Foot Rub! This You Have to Experience!

New esthetician to town gave me a great pampering head to toe at LUSH. Meeting their new owner and getting time to relax is a must this month!

I am always one who loves being pampered. If you've seen me in town you know that I love our local salons and spas and patronize them often. This week I went to LUSH in downtown Rochester to meet with its new owners and get a facial from the newest staff-member.

Summer is an esthetician from LA and has worked with some of Hollywood's best celebs and stars! And, now she is right here in town. Exciting, right? I thought so!

LUSH has a great team, and the new owner is amazing. I stopped in after work and Summer had me get into a robe and lay on her warm massage table. The facial started out with cleansing and exfoliating. My favorite part is what the pros like to call "extraction." I love getting out all of that dirt and knowing my skin is as clean as possible! With a magnifyer and a light-Summer cleansed and toned. Then the best-hot towels where placed between each treatment. Normally I have had two hot towels between treatments. Summer needed three! That is how attentive she is to each part of the process...moisturizing, detoxifying and massaging head and shoulders throughout. My first words out of the room were, "She does three steps...three towels is the real treatment!"

Last but not least, while my face is resting in a mask, she gives a foot rub! I had to ask-did she do this for everyone? Yes, if they want it, they get it! How relaxing to know I am doing something good for my skin, and forgetting about the day all at the same time.

Facials are good for us, they keep our skin young and clean. If you're going to do a "should," why not do it in style! If you have the time, visit the esthetician that Hollywood sees. You don't have to travel far, just next to Penny Black in downtown Rochester. Best spot for pampering and then a cocktail with the girls!
