All you have to do is create an account, pick your destination, and away you go!

My mom, nana, and I had the opportunity to go to Hilton Head, South Carolina for a week this summer--kudos to mom for all the planning! My mom came across airbnb, and through the website, she found the Hilton Head Organic B&B where we stayed for one perfect week.

Immediately upon our arrival, we were greeted by the homeowners who proceeded to welcome us to their home with warm embraces and smiles. Entering their home was like a transportation into a different world; a worry free, colorful world; their home was decorated with intricate South American, and Oriental pots, while drums stood in the corner, adding a musicality to the home. The walls were painted the richest oranges and reds, sealing the promise of a warm, and relaxing stay at the Hilton Head Organic B&B. To top it off, we were even made all-organic breakfasts 3 times during our week long stay- scrumptious strawberry pancakes, fluffy omelets, and tangy breakfast burritos; all excellent in taste and presentation. The homeowners themselves were the loveliest of people, making us feel warm and welcome in their home, and took interest in our lives and we in theirs. By the end of the trip, it felt as if we had known each other forever, and the memories will last a lifetime.

Although not all homeowners will be present during your stay at your preferred destination spot, I for one can say that with an open mind, staying at the Hilton Head Organic B&B where the homeowners were present, actually completed the experience, making it a more well rounded trip as I not only got to travel and have a pleasant vaction, but I also got to meet people who only added to the wonderful experience.
