Heirloom Bulbs: Unique, Endangered, Amazing
The Meadow Brook Garden Club will meet Friday, January 25, 2013, in the Meadow Brook Hall Ballroom located at 480 South Adams Road, Rochester MI 48309. Coffee and refreshments will be served at 9:15 a.m. with program to follow at 10:00 a.m. including guest speaker Scott Kunst a landscape historian who founded Old House Gardens, the country’s only mail-order source devoted entirely to providing antique flower bulbs. Scott will delight us with his presentation: “Heirloom Bulbs: Unique, Endangered, Amazing”. There is a $5 non-member donation. Reservations are not required. Located in Rochester Hills, Meadow Brook is the historic home built by one of the automotive aristocracy's most remarkable women, Matilda Dodge Wilson, widow of automobile pioneer John Dodge and her second husband, lumber broker Alfred Wilson.
