Bordine Nursery, often called Bordine's, is the first nursery of its kind to open in Rochester. In 1939, the Bordine family created a home gardening and goods business. When it flourished, they opted to open more locations in Michigan. However, the Rochester location remains its headquarters and original store. The Bordine family continues the legacy of running the Bordine Nursery business by selling plants, fountains and any other items a person may need for turning his or her own backyard gardening vision into a reality.
