Where to See the Halloween Lights
We map the best spots to see Halloween lights and other decorations around town.
Where there are Halloween lights, there are bound to be ghosts and goblins hanging out.
We asked you on our Facebook page to help us map the best places to see Halloween decorations on homes in Rochester and Rochester Hills.
While we don't have a Tillson Street (like in Romeo), we do have a few neighborhoods where homeowners go all out for Halloween, and we've mapped them out for you here.
Karl Kemnitz, who lives on Red Oak Lane, near North Hill Elementary School, is one such homeowner. We first learned of his Halloween home last year, when he told us he was on a mission to bring "scary" back. His home is wrapped in spiderwebs and features a graveyard, skeletons and other creatures on display.
This year, he added even more to his front yard creation; we thank him for sharing these photos with Patch readers.
From his neighborhood and beyond, here's a map to some homes that readers recommended for a Halloween light tour. Click on the map to enlarge it, then click on each icon for more information.
Enjoy!
