This Weekend in Rochester: Restaurant Week Continues, Avon Players on Stage
Here's a look at things to do around Rochester and Rochester Hills.
The weekend is coming soon. Here's what's going on around Rochester and Rochester Hills:
- Have some antiques you are curious about? Take them to the annual Antique Appraisal Day on Sunday at Rochester Community House. Sponsored by the Rochester-Avon Historical Society, each appraisal costs $5.
- Restaurant Week continues in downtown Rochester. There are lunch and dinner specials through Sunday at several popular dining spots. Check out the menus here on Patch.
- The Avon Players perform "Mixed Nuts," which shows Friday night, Saturday and Sunday in Rochester.
- It's Motown Madness on the campus of Oakland University, as more than 700 gymnasts from Michigan and Ohio will compete beginning Friday. The meet is hosted by Gymnastics Training Center of Rochester Hills.
- Teens looking for something to do can check out The Upper Room at the First Congregational Church in Rochester. Starting at 7 p.m. every Saturday night, teens gather for games and other activities.
