Stoney Creek High School Class of 2011 Commended as 'Brilliant'

The Stoney Creek High School’s class of 2011 graduation ceremony was filled with smiles, laughter and memories as graduates filed across the stage at Meadow Brook Festival on Wednesday.

Principal Larry Goralski, known to students as “Mr. G.,” shared several memories, including one about several seniors he reprimanded during an assembly early on in their freshman year, which drew many laughs from the crowd.

Students were commended on their successes throughout high school, most notably on their adaptation to new statewide graduation requirements.  The class of 2011 was the first class that these requirements affected.

Stoney Creek High School’s class of 2011 boasts seven valedictorians and two salutatorians.  In addition, 12 students were recognized as top scholars.
