Senior Choir, Holy Family Students Honor Heroes in September 11 Ceremony
How did you commemorate the day?
For the heroes / For the patriots / For the soldiers / For all the pioneers.
I will always be / An American / And I will always / Cry American tears.
Students at Holy Family Regional School in Rochester Hills commemorated September 11 with a special song, a special ceremony — and some special guests.
The American House Choir, which includes about 25 senior residents of American House facilities in Oakland County, sang patriotic songs for the students; they also presented the school with a commemorative September 11 "heroes" flag.
The students then sang a patriotic song — "American Tears."
Dan Greig is director of the American House Choir, which planned to travel to several locations to perform on Tuesday.

Having been a part of the HFRS family for 9 years, I can tell you that this song brings me to tears every time I hear it. To have children sing in their beautiful, innocent voices about our heroes is incredibly moving. What a wonderful way to honor the heroes and lost American lives on 9/11.
