They came to cheer, tumble, jump, stretch — and compete. Twelve teams Saturday fought for four spots that would send them to the state cheer finals next week in Grand Rapids. In the end, Stoney Creek earned second place, while Rochester and Adams ended in fifth and sixth places. Here are some images from the day. For a complete report, click here.

Rochester Falcons have set the standard for competitive cheer in the state of Michigan. I am shocked and saddened they will not be at the state finals. Ladies you are amazing on and off the floor. Somehow, I think they will be at the state finals next week cheering for the other teams. And, I can't wait to see you next year. :)
