The Big, Bright Lights will shine once more.

From 6 p.m. to midnight Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, the lights wrapping downtown Rochester's buildings will be turned on. It's the final weekend for the 2011-12 light show.

The Big, Bright Lights sendoff normally coincides with the downtown Fire & Ice Festival; though that festival was originally planned for this weekend, it has been postponed until Feb. 24-26 because of a lack of snow.

For complete coverage of the Big, Bright Light Show, visit our special section on Patch. Do you have photos of the lights to share? Upload them here for Patch readers to see.

Why aren't they leaving them up for Fire and Ice?? The ice sculptures look great with the lights as a backdrop!

The Fire and Ice was postponed due to weather conditions until Feb 26
It takes a while to take these down and we have the Main Street Make Over beginning
shortly. The contractor can not wait until March.
Hopefully next year, the weather cooperates.

So glad to hear they will be up one more day! I wanted to get out last night and take some panoramic shots of them but I got out too late last night!

We really need to capture some of these awesome photos of our Down Town for everyone to enjoy in a book---from the beginning year to the present-
from putting them up to taking them down--
I am really impressed with the photos submitted that the Patch has published for all of us to enjoy.
