Santa, Cinderella and Buddy the Elf: Parade Day 2012 in Review
Here's a Monday morning recap of the Hometown Christmas Parade in Rochester.
You most likely know this by now: there was a parade Sunday in downtown Rochester.
More than 100 floats, bands, businesses, town dignitaries and school groups marched and rode through Rochester Hills and Rochester during the 90-minute afternoon parade.
Rochester Patch livestreamed the entire parade from the corner of University and Main; you can watch a replay of that livestream here.
Here's what else we want to share about the parade:
- The winners. Were your favorites also the favorites of parade judges? Check out the list here.
- The crowd. Thousands lined the streets of Rochester. Were you there? Check out our photo gallery of faces from the parade crowd.
- The floats and bands. We have hundreds of parade participants. Check out the photos, and add your own.
