Police Use Taser on Suspected Liquor Thief Hiding in Meijer Parking Lot
The incident occurred Sunday afternoon in Rochester Hills.
Police deployed a Taser on Sunday afternoon on a man attempting to steal $500 in liquor from a Rochester Hills Meijer store.
According to a report from the Oakland County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the call at the Rochester Road Meijer at 2:04 p.m. to see the 46-year-old Oxford Township man running through the parking lot. Deputies found the man hiding under a vehicle and ordered him to crawl out; he refused, so a deputy deployed his Taser, the report stated.
The man then complained of chest pains and was transported to Beaumont Hospital in Troy, where he was treated and released, the report stated.
The man is lodged at the Oakland County Jail pending arraignment.

that's great! I would have paid money to see that in person. Hope they have a video. What a loser. Nice to see one more criminal off the street...oh wait (let me be PC, other wise my comment will be removed for not being sensivite to the feelings of the thief)....I mean "suspected" criminal.
