Police Catch Man After Strong-Arm Theft From Rochester Hills Parking Lot
The incident happened Thursday afternoon.
Police in Rochester Hills and Auburn Hills worked together Thursday afternoon to catch a suspect in the strong-arm theft of a necklace from a woman in a store parking lot.
The incident happened in the parking lot of a South Adams Road business at 2:55 p.m. A witness provided the Oakland County Sheriff's Office with a description of the suspects' car. According to Sheriff's Captain Michael Johnson, sheriff's deputies, along with the Auburn Hills Police Department, were on alert for the car, which was found less than an hour later near the intersection of Adams Road and Walton Boulevard.
The suspect in the vehicle, a 21-year-old Pontiac man, was identified as a suspect involved in the robbery earlier that day, as well as robberies in Auburn Hills and Pontiac, Johnson said. A second suspect, also a man, remains at-large.

Thanks for the update! We drove by Thursday afternoon when they had the suspect in the back of the patrol car. We were wondering why it took 7 cars.

How many news articles do we have to read where the suspect is from Pontiac and they're robbing a Rochester business or person? Can't we just set up a check point at I-75 and not let them over?

You obviously do not know your way around here, are you from Detroit. M-59 is the road way that leads from Pontiac to Rochester Hills, it is less than a 10 minute drive. Taking 75 from Pontiac to Rochester Hills is stupid
