Man Threatened With Handgun in Rochester Hills Bank Parking Lot
The incident happened during daytime Monday, according to a police report.
A Rochester Hills man was threatened by a 29-year-old Auburn Hills man with a handgun in a bank parking lot after a traffic altercation, according to a police report.
On Monday at 1:43 p.m., Oakland County Sheriff's Office units were dispatched to the 2900 block of Walton Boulevard — the Bank of America parking lot — for a felonious assault with a handgun call.
The victim stated in the report that he was involved in a traffic altercation with the subject, who then threatened him with a black handgun.
According to the report, the suspect left the scene in his vehicle and was seen heading westbound on Walton Blvd.
A sheriff's deputy checked the area and found the suspect driving his vehicle on Brewster Road. A traffic stop was performed and the suspect was taken into custody. A black 9MM pistol was recovered, according to the report.
The man was lodged at the Oakland County Jail pending warrants, the report stated.
