Still can't beat Give Thanks Bakery. From Almond Croissants to the Cheese Pockets or apricot danish-and don't forget the Plum cake that is seasonal....to sum it up with the mocha cakes, and raspberry lemon mouse deserts and eclairs, our favorite, everything in the cases, from top to bottom and left to right.
Rochester has a lot of great sweets-and we have enjoyed many more in town as well.

The Tres Leches cake from Rojo is really good, but also easy enough to make on your own.

This isn't downtown, but I LOVE the crepes at Hepburn's. It just recently opened in the Village. Amazing. You can order off the menu or create your own!

Wow! You completely forgot the best Fat Tuesday breakfast/dessert item: The Knapp's Donut Paczki w/Holy Cannoli filling. It's like 2 items in 1. I bought 6 for work tomorrow...but already ate 1 of them. I hope the other 5 make it:-) BTW...this year...you can only get them from Holy Cannoli. Knapp's does have all the other flavors though.
