The weather is supposed to clear by 1 p.m. - which will make it a great day for a parade! Look for us at the corner of University and Main streets. See you downtown!

So bummed it's not on Channel 7 this year, wish one of the TV Stations had picked it up. My kids love watching! We missed the Thanksgiving Day parade since we were out of state for a funeral and were looking forward to this one on our TV, bummer!!

Channel 7 probably got complaints that the parade went on too long, and nobody, much less children, enjoy one vehicle after the other lumbering down the street. In other words: boring. Used to be a great parade, but now it seems more like an opportunity for businesses to slap a sign on their cars & advertise. My kids used to love this parade, but it was designed to delight children back then.

We made part of the news last night. Wondering how I can find video so that out of town family can see?

carolynn ....i agree......what they should really do is go thru applications and cull the crap out of the parade and invite more good bands.....and give 1 2 3 place contest for the best float with the winner given a cash reward of 5 k or so....then the parade would be quality......but rumor has it that the rochester chamber of commerce made some demands that the tv station couldnt deal with......just a rumor tho.....anybody out there know anything about this?
