Menu: Mandy Garver of the synagogue said the meal will include cheese blintzes, French toast, banked frittata, roasted potatoes, fruit salad, scones, bagels and lox, spinach salad, along with juices, coffee and teas.
“Anyone who would like to come is welcome to come,” Garver said. “We usually have it each year, though we missed last year. People clamored for it to come back so here it is.”

O’Mara’s Restaurant

When: O’Mara’s is hosting its Mother’s Day Grand Buffet from 11 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
Cost: $26.95
Menu: Carving station with prime rib, turkey and ham, sweet and sour coconut shrimp, beef tenderloin with mushrooms, pork tenderloin, scalloped and mashed potatoes, cauliflower au gratin and appetizers including smoked fish. There will also be a 12-foot salad bar and six-foot dessert table.

Mr. Kabob

Menu: Manager Sam Gulli said the family tray option is particularly suitable for a family dinner on such a special occasion. Mr. Kabob’s family tray comes with a variety of meat options on a bed of rice (including kabobs, shawarma and kafta), pita with garlic sauce and hummus, and fattoush or any order of salad. The regular price is $74.99 (not factoring in the Mother’s Day discount).
