This stroller was found on the grounds of the Rochester Hills Public Library on a recent morning.

Last week, according to Library Director Christine Hage, a "wonderful parent did the right thing" and brought their child to the Rochester Hills Public Library.

But they left something behind.

This stroller was discovered on a recent morning in the library parking lot; it is now in the library's Lost and Found.

"We’ve had lots of coats, mittens, phones, keys, homework assignments left at the library," Hage said. "We even had someone leave their dentures one time!"

Is this your stroller? Call the library at 248-656-2900

The library is open from 9 a.m.–9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m.– 6 p.m. on Fridays and Saturday and Sundays from 1 - 6 p.m.

We all have brain fades, but anyone else get just a wee bit worried about a mom who doesn't realize she forgot the stroller?

Sure hope feeding time doesn't slip Sieve Mom's mind, too.

This could totally happen to a very normal mom (or even a DAD) -- who wouldn't forget to feed their child! You get the baby in, another kid on the other side of the minivan drops his cheerios/needs help getting bucked/whacks his sister on the head with a toy, you attend to that and probably 15 other requests/minor issues (one kid wants to take off his shoes, another drops his Power Ranger out of reach and screams bloody murder, etc.) and just forget about the stroller. The person probably won't even realize they lost it until next time they go to take it out of the trunk.

Alan probably doesn't have kids. And if he does, he's probably not pulling his weight helping mom with them. Otherwise, he'd totally get it Michelle!

Could totally happen. Someone probably found it in the middle of the parking lot and moved it to the lawn.

I drove around for a whole afternoon with my diaper bag on the roof of my car. Absentmindedness added to a mix of distracted, rushed, and aggravated. It happens to us all...except Alan, that is.
