Brothers Alex and Tom Duhani have come a long way since their teenage days of working at a pizza shop in New York City.

On Tuesday, they officially introduced themselves to downtown Rochester when several town VIPs joined them for a ribbon-cutting at Fortesa, the upscale restaurant they opened overlooking the Paint Creek in September.

"We loved this location, and the creek with its great view was really the biggest draw," said Alex Duhani. "We're very happy here in this environment in Rochester."

The restaurant's menu includes pasta, seafood and filet mignon. On Tuesday, the brothers served a variety of appetizers and pork tenderloin as they mingled with about 60 guests at the restaurant.
