The Student Life Lecture Board at Oakland University will welcome TOMS founder Blake MyCoskie to speak about the company, which gives a pair of new shoes to a needy child in a developing country with every pair sold.
Having given more than 1 million pairs of new shoes to children in 28 countries, the company recently launched its second one-for-one product, TOMS Eyewear.
MyCoskie will speak at 7:30 p.m. April 5 at the O'Rena. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. He will answer questions submitted prior to the event by students, faculty, staff and members of the general public as part of his presentation.
