Stoney Creek Seniors Win Auto Show Poster Design Contest

Stoney Creek High School seniors Morgan Barrow and Stephen Sinacori were honored at the Dec. 10 Rochester Community Schools Board of Education meeting in recognition of having their designs selected as winners for this year’s North American International Auto Show Poster contest.

Morgan is the recipient of the Chairman’s Award which is the top award winning her $1000. Stephen earned 3rd place in the senior division. Both students are enrolled in the Graphic/Integrated Design Class at Stoney Creek High School. Teachers Diane Heath and Student Teacher Amber Tourtillott work along with General Motor’s Director of Global Industrial Design, Teckla Rhoads.

Teckla works with this class introducing them to the world of design at GM. The posters will be on display at Cobo Hall from January 19-27, 2013.
