St. John Lutheran Students Celebrate "Constitution Day"
The staff and students of St. John Lutheran School in Rochester took a moment to gather around the flagpole early last Monday morning to recognize Constitution Day. The students were led in prayer by Pastor Marc Schwichtenberg, the new Senior Pastor at St. John. Students gave thanks for the country in which they live and for the freedoms that it preserves, such as freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Following prayer, the students recited the Pledge of Allegiance and the Pledge to the Christian Flag. The students returned to their classrooms ready to learn and feeling united!
