SCHS Art Club Members Help Prep Floats for Thanksgiving Parade
Several of the Stoney Creek High School art club students, along with Ms. McMurray, volunteered to help get the floats ready for the Detroit Thanksgiving Day parade.
Students toured the warehouse, and then helped out with the “bookworm," an 80-foot float that was divided into 3 sections. It was great for the students to see how the floats are made from concept to chicken wire, then finally to completion. Students enjoyed helping out with this great cause.
