On Saturday, January 12, 2013 the Reuther Robotic Team competed in the first Oakland County Middle School Vex Robotic Competition.  Reuther competed against some very tough schools such as Southfield, Pontiac ITA, Clawson and West.  Other schools who also participated were Brandon, Cranbrook and VanHoosen.  All battled to get to the semi-finals, but it was Reuther and Cranbrook that were left to battle in the finals.  Cranbrook came out on top but Reuther felt honored to have been able to compete against a school who has a program that competes internationally.  Reuther took home 2 trophies – one for creativity and the 2^nd place FINALIST trophy.  The team unanimously agreed….It’s Great to be a Crusader!
