The more than 1,000 people attended this year's annual Praise in the Park event in Rochester Municipal Park.

Organized by St. John's Lutheran Church and School, the event is a community day of worship and celebration and  an opportunity to recognize local first responders, veterans, and current members of our Armed Forces.

The event included a Patriotic Songfest by St. John's Male Chorus, a "Victory" message by new Senior Pastor Marc Schwichtenberg, a picnic/ice cream social, a vintage vehicle display, ministry fair, Olympic-themed games and activities, and a children's decorated "Red, White, and Cute" Wheels parade.
