Anne Marie Whedon, age 55, of Rochester Hills, died August 1, 2011. According to an obituary published on Legacy.com, Anne was employed by Holy Family Regional School for the past 14 years and adored her first graders. Beloved wife of William. Loving mother of Dr. Sara, Dr. Andrea (Dr. Rodney Hulbert) and Christina Whedon. Daughter of Mary and the late Donald Champagne. Sister of Carolyn (Robert) Dickinson, John Champagne and Nancy (Dan) Walker.
The family will receive friends Thursday, 3-9 p.m. and Friday, 2-9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary at the Potere-Modetz Funeral Home, 339 Walnut Boulevard, Rochester. Funeral Mass Saturday, August 6, 2011, 10 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1400 Inglewood, Rochester. Interment at Guardian Angel Cemetery. Memorials to Holy Family Regional School in memory of Anne.

I WAS SO SORRY TO SEE THAT ANNE HAD PASSED AWAY. I FIRST NEW ANNE WHEN SHE WORKED WITH MY MOM CHARLOTTE BROWN AT PRIEHS DEPARTMENT STORE, THAT'S GOING BACK ABOUT 38 YRS. AGO. MY MOM THOUGHT SO HIGHLY OF ANNE AND SO DID I. AFTER ANNE AND BILL LEFT OUR SUBDIVISION IN MT. CLEMENS I LOST TRACK OF HER. MY HEART GOES OUT TO ALL OF ANNE'S FAMILY AND I'M SURE THAT HER AND MY MOTHER (MY MOM PASSED AWAY ON JULY 20 TH). ARE AT PEACE WITH JESUS. SINCERELY CLAUDIA (BROWN) SCHULTE
