Kali, a Young Dalmation-Pix Mix, Needs Loving Home by Jan. 18

Kali, a young dalmation-pix mix (?), was found on 12/1/12 in the Waterford area. She was not wearing a collar. When taken in by a nice family in Rochester, Kali was extremely thin and cold and the end of her tail was raw and bleeding.

“I want to thank the wonderful people who took me in, fed me, and gave me a warm place to stay,” says Kali . “But now I need to go to my new forever home before Jan. 18.”

Kali is very playful, bouncy, and leaps when the other dogs play. She listens well and sits on command.

She also walks well on a leash and is great with a harness—hardly pulls at all! Plus, she goes to the door when she wants to go out.

If you’d like to foster, rescue, or adopt this sweet gal, please call Tery ASAP at 248-709-2989.

Is she going to be put down on the 18th? Surely someone can foster her until a home is found! I already have three dogs and I am not sure if we would even be allowed to have another dog!

Thanks for your concern, Donna. Unfortunately, unless someone steps up to rescue, foster, or adopt this sweet girl, she'll wind up at a kill shelter, where a positive outcome is doubtful. :(
