The Friends of Dinosaur Hill are planning a morning tour of the Cranbrook Gardens to be followed by a luncheon at the famous Booth home designed by renowned architect Albert Kahn. A history tour of the home follows the luncheon.

The Friends of Dinosaur Hill will meet at the Nature Center, 333 North Hill Circle in Rochester at 9 a.m. on Thursday, July 21st. Carpooling will be available to Cranbrook in Bloomfield Hills with an option of meeting at Cranbrook at 9:30.

The colorful garden walk will feature paths, streams, sculpture, fountains, and Kingswood Lake. A first floor tour of the Cranbrook House following the luncheon will highlight the history, art and architecture of this historic home. Its treasures include centuries old tapestries, hand-carved woodwork, and English art and crafts style antiques.

Reservations are limited and may be made by emailing Jane Hoyle at hoyle@oakland.edu. Checks for $45.00 should be made out to The Friends of Dinosaur Hill and sent to 333 North Hill Circle, Rochester 48307 by July 11th.
