Falcon Band Joins Reuther Band at Reuther Middle School
The Rochester High School Falcon Marching Band, under the direction of Timothy Nadeau, Director of Bands at Rochester High School, recently concluded its annual Middle School Tour. The bands performed on Friday, November 9, 2013 in the halls and in a concert setting at both West Middle School and Reuther Middle School for assembled middle school audiences. The concert was made up of performances from the band’s 2013 halftime show and other rousing selections.
The Falcon Marching Band is an award-winning group that participates in RHS home football games, away football games at Rochester Adams and Stoney Creek High Schools, numerous parades and community events including America’s Thanksgiving Parade in Detroit, Rochester Art & Apples Festival, the Rochester OPC Seniors Day, and MSBOA Marching Band Festival. During the 10-week season, the group dedicated group of high school musicians rehearse four days per week from 6:20am-7:20 (it’s just one of those things we love to do!), and from 6pm-9 on Monday evenings. The marching season typically runs from Band Camp in early August through the end of football season, plus a few holiday parades in December. www.rochesterbands.org

Mr. Nadeau goes above and beyond for his current (and future) band students. He is an asset to our children, RHS, and our community. The students gain so much from his program and teachings. Great job, Mr. Nadeau!
