Benefit 5K Planned Saturday to Support Children of French Teacher Susan Jarrell
Susan Jarrell, 45, was a beloved French teacher in the Rochester Community Schools that lived in Bloomfield Hills with her three children. She was was remembered as a devoted mother and positive influence during an hour-long funeral service Monday at St. Hugo of the Hills Catholic Church.

The late Stoney Creek High School French teacher Susan Jarrell was an avid runner who shared her love of running with her three children and students. A benefit run has been organized in her honor.
It includes a 5K competitive race and a 1-mile fun run/walk. The event will be held at Bloomer Park.
Registration begins at 8 a.m.; the run begins at 9 a.m. All proceeds benefit the Health, Welfare and Education of the Jarrell Children fund.
